Empowering Departments to Prioritize Mental Wellness

The R3 program allows you to attend any of the approved R3 Resilience Trainings using paid training time OR if you choose, you may remain ANONYMOUS.

To remain anonymous: simply contact the organization providing the training and complete their intake process. No personal information will be shared with your department.

The Process

Step 1:

Choose from the list of approved R3 Trainings below, contact the organization and complete the application and intake process.

Step 2:

Once accepted to the program complete an IOC addressed to your Assistant Chief. Wellness unit personnel can provide the IOC policewellnessunit@fortworthtexas.gov.

Step 3:

Upon completion of the training program, submit your training program certificate of completion and a FWPD Course Evaluation to the wellness Unit.

Confidential Counseling Program

In response to the challenges associated with seeking counseling within police and fire departments, a confidential, culturally-competent counseling program is available through a contract with the American Warrior Association.

Every Police Department Employee including telecommunicators, dispatch, retirees, and/or their immediate family members are provided 7 free sessions annually from our approved clinicians.

No personal information is shared with the American Warrior Association or your department.
